Palm Coast Data Awarded Contracts for Digital-Only Clients

PALM COAST, Fla. (Feb. 24, 2014) – Three publications have selected Palm Coast Data (PCD) to support the development of their digital magazines: Cocina al Día, Uomo Moderno and Shoeholics.

The publications are among PCD’s first digital-only clients and will use magMaker, a digital publishing platform by F2F 6Sixty Digital Inc. that comes pre-integrated with PCD’s industry-leading Digital Entitlements System (DES).

With magMaker, these titles will be able to develop digital editions quickly, using print-ready files; easily implement multimedia enhancements such as video, photo galleries and surveys; promptly import and load digital issues; and rapidly release branded apps to Apple, Android, Google, Amazon and other stores.

In addition, the integration of DES gives these publishers more flexibility in how they sell their digital products. Specifically, it reduces their reliance on third-party digital newsstands. With DES, they can sell digital editions directly through their websites – keeping 100 percent of the revenue and fully owning their customers’ data for valuable re-marketing opportunities like bundled subscriptions, up-sells and special offers that increase revenue.
