Publishing experts join Palm Coast Data
Pedersen, Borth to assist during transition period
Palm Coast, FL (December 1, 2008) Palm Coast Data announced today that two well-known publishing thoughtleaders have joined the company as consultants. Pete Pedersen and Jim Borth will provide counsel and continuity management to Palm Coast Data clients during the company’s transition period. These efforts will include new marketing initiatives and other business development activities.

Mr Borth is a 30-year veteran of the publishing industry. As a founding executive of Dennis Publishing, he was responsible for the circulation launch and development strategies for Maxim, Stuff, Blender and The Week. In addition to his work at Dennis, Mr. Borth has held executive positions at The Sporting News, Cahners Publishing and Curtis Circulation.
Mr. Pedersen’s long publishing career has included executive positions at Time Inc.’s Life magazine and Publishers Clearing House. While at PCH, Mr. Pedersen developed what became known as Power Line, the company’s telemarketing arm. For the past 25 years he has headed up the company’s publisher relations activities with more than 600 publisher clients in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. Mr. Pedersen is a past Board Director of FMA and the XYZ Club.
