Primary Duties: Complies ABC/BPA worksheets and validates galley
instructions. Verifies and sends on/off reports for clients to Operations. Verifies activity, reports for continuous audit. Bursts Nth cards and sheets, scans cards, and removes cancels and telephone adjustments and extensions. Creates CDROM disks for validate galley, FTP’s Galley to BPA to determine Audit verification. Pulls proof of cash on audit test for ABC/BPA auditors. Provides deduct and reclaim reports for auditors. Rates charts and sends letters to clients twice a year for audit issue
and rate check. Prepares month end working reports. Pulls cash for agency tapes and files magazine control sheets and creates CDROM Disks. Conducts postal audits. Sends instructions to Operations for ABCD, SCF, and magazine distribution counts. Verifies and ships to clients.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Requires a minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus some college or business experience helpful. Prior experience working with preadsheets on MS Excel required. Must have strong organizational skills and be a very detail minded
individual. Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English, and have stable work history required.

Primary Duties: Prepares and releases credit orders and controlled circulation documents to the Data Entry Department. Receives and organizes credit orders or non-orders and controlled circulation documents by publication/product. Sorts and batches documents for each publication/product by order value and/or type of document. Enters specific information about each batch of documents into a computer terminal to build the header record and print a batch header. Attaches a printed batch header to each batch of corresponding documents. Delivers completed batches to Data Entry Department.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Must have very strong 10 key skills and type a minimum of 35/wpm, plus 1year data entry experience is highly desirable. Must have strong organizational skills and be a very detail minded individual. Must be able to work fast on their feet, able to read, write and communicate effectively in English, and have stable work history required. Position requires physical activity, very active, moving around from workstation to work station, Lifting up to 25#, Standing for extended periods of time, and Keyboarding for extended periods of time.

Primary Duties: Receives batches of documents from Batch Control Clerk, keys documents into a computer terminal. Enters information accurately, reviews keyed transaction to locate errors, if necessary, to balance keyed batches. Must meet production/ performance requirements of position.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Requires a High School diploma or equivalent must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Must have very strong typing & 10Key skills with a minimum of 45/wpm plus 1yr. data entry experience required. Must have a stable work history, be a very detail minded individual, multi-task oriented and a self-starter. Must be able to work in fast paced, job/shop, production environment.

Primary Duties: Distributes released batches based on production priority within the department. Retrieves completed batches from each data entry workstation. Sorts batches accordingly for archiving.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Good manual dexterity, eye/hand coordination, strong memorization skills and basis number aptitude. Must be a fast learner and able to work in a fast paced production environment. Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English, plus have stable work history required.

Education/Experience: Requires 2+years of financial analysis or cost accounting experience and a degree in Finance / Accounting. Cost / manufacturing accounting experience is a plus. Strong problem solving skills required. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, must have strong organizational skills and numbers aptitude, analytical/statistical minded. Ability to ask all levels of management questions to get understanding of processes being reviewed. A high level of assessment and judgment skills required. MUST be HIGHLY proficient in Microsoft Office software especially Excel, Access, and Outlook.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare reports, invoices and journal entries.
• Answer account receivable and general ledger inquiries both internally and from the client and other vendors.
• Troubleshoot balance deposit discrepancies.
• Analyze financial and inventory reports for accuracy and proper balancing.
• Advise staff on proper accounting procedures
• Perform daily audits.
• Serve as back up to the data control specialist.
• Document process and procedures.

Education/Experience: Associates Degree in Accounting or a minimum of 2 years experience in general ledger accounting (knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles required) Must possess advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook. Experience with MAS 200 or other accounting software is required.

Essential Functions: Coordinates assigned accounting functions for the corporation, preparation of financial reports that consolidate the business activity of the company for the month, year to date, and year with comparisons to budget and prior year. Reports include Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, and Equity. Responsible for productivity improvements and automation in the accounting areas, particularly decisions and implementation of accounting and transactional systems.

Responsible for the financial integrity of the financial reports and transactional accounting, consistent with generally accepted accounting principles. Knowledge of accounting pronouncements and application to the business. Responsible for developing the accounting staff. Creates JD Edwards reporter writer based financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) using spreadsheet server, dream writer, world writer, etc. Assists with monthly closing process including preparation of journal entries, supporting schedules and related analysis.

Knowledge of accounting pronouncements and application to the business. Responsible for variance analysis against Budget and Forecast, with a strong ability to influence on corrective action where actuals are varying from forecast. Awareness of variance trends and a strong ability to communicate tracking of financials in time for corrective action. Prepares Excel based trend analysis spreadsheets and associated analysis.

Backup Fixed Asset Accounting Administrator. Maintains Lease schedules and prepares 10Q / 10K footnotes.

Responsible for researching sales tax issues; Backs up Controller. Capable of client interactions on financial issues.

Responsible for supervising invoice controls.

Education/Experience: CPA or its equivalent with a 4-year degree in Accounting. Significant accounting experience, including hands-on accounting experience of at least 5 to 10 years, supervisory experience of an accounting staff for at least 3 years, prefer big 4 audit experience. MBA preferred, Cost Accounting a plus and Acquisition Accounting a plus. JD Edwards and MAS 90 experience a plus. Sarbanes-Oxley Experience a plus. Must be extremely comfortable with GAAP accounting and controls. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access. Proven track record of hands-on accounting experience in mid-size or large company where he/she can assist with and supervise all aspects of accounting. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
